Where it started.

First Phase began with individual training.

For years the focus was simple: develop better footballers through technical detail. Sessions were built around one belief—technique over everything—because without good technique, everything else becomes harder.

As more players progressed into professional football, First Phase grew with them. What started as individual sessions eventually became the First Phase Factory, a full-time training environment where professional footballers could continue developing outside their club programmes.

But over time something became obvious.

Improving technique was only part of helping players perform.

Professional football changed the questions.

Working full time inside professional football across Australia, Denmark and England changed the way the game was viewed.

Daily coaching, match preparation and player development brought a different perspective, but the biggest lessons came from conversations rather than training sessions.

Players weren't always looking for another opinion from a coach inside the building.

They were looking for someone they could speak to honestly.

Someone independent.

Someone who could challenge them, reinforce what was working and help them understand their performances without selection, contracts or club politics influencing the conversation.

That became the foundation of Individual Game Coaching.

Coaches needed something better too.

Professional football also highlighted another problem.

The standard expected from coaches continued to increase, but the tools hadn't kept pace.

Planning sessions, analysing matches, preparing presentations and running individual meetings often meant jumping between multiple applications that were never designed to work together.

The coaching deserved better.

Studio was created to bring that workflow into one place, saving time while making it easier to prepare, present and coach at a professional standard.

Today.

Returning home to Australia created the opportunity to bring everything together.

First Phase now brings together the three areas that have shaped that journey.

Individual Training remains where it all started.

Individual Game Coaching provides players with honest, independent support throughout the season.
